What our products hope to achieve

For the second blog post, we wanted to talk briefly about what our products hope to achieve. Around the time of the inception of Sheaves AI, our team members were researching many aspects of the research and market potential of artificial intelligence. We concluded from these efforts that many AI products on the market were limited in scope and largely repetitive in design. Actually, they were some variation of Generative Pre-Trained Transformers (GPTs), which is built to generate text or similar content. While GPTs proved to be useful, these tools often lacked the ability to perform complex, real-world tasks.

In contrast, Sheaves AI focused on developing AI agents, autonomous software systems that use LLMs (or LCMs, etc.) to accomplish specific goals and complete technical tasks (rather than simply generating responses). We thought this was a great opportunity to broaden our products’ use-cases and hence, we developed a general-purpose platform that can be applied to everyday contexts and across many industries. Our customers then include both individuals who want to harness AI to solve real problems in their work and daily lives as well as businesses seeking advanced automation.

The products we currently offer include a collaborative workspace where individuals and organizations can build and customize AI agents of performing specialized tasks. By making this process more accessible, we aim to democratize advanced AI development rather than concentrating it in a few entities. Furthermore, we are aware of how the internet and AI have changed education. It has made information more accessible; truly, the possibilities seem endless. But in saying this, we have to be mindful about how we use these capabilities as they can become a crutch and stunt the learning process, which requires deliberate practice and time. This is why we have developed a so-called Education Intelligence section that will use machine learning for applications focused on furthering learning. In that section, machine learning will be used to generate recent articles about AI developments, automate AI tools relevant for subjects in STEM, and features several guides that provide more wisdom into these topics as opposed to mere information.

In time, we will release our service robots and drones which are designed to assist under-privileged communities, providing practical support in areas where resources are limited. And finally, while our team has placed a good deal of effort toward developing helpful science (due in large part to our technical backgrounds), we are also mindful of the application of AI in the arts. Hence, we are seeking artists to develop designs that will be tokenized into NFTs and rewarded to annual subscribers for the benefit of partially owning the art piece. The art piece will be a drawing reflecting something about the progress our company is making in cultivating a better society for all. Please note, artists will be recognized for their contribution to our company’s reflection process.
