A brief note on constantly upgrading the site

Since March of 2025, Sheaves AI has undergone multiple upgrades. At a certain point, we will start to normalize the pacing by which upgrades/updates are made, but our company is uniquely positioned in that we have a small team with a wide range of technical skillsets. This then makes it so that we can actually think bigger about what our team seeks to accomplish as opposed to what is typically expected of a startup (which is pushed in the direction of a narrow list of objectives).

The combination of a small team with a wide range of skills has streamlined our processes for faster results. Actually, when you add the power of AI to the mix, it makes it so that we can go even faster while still keeping mind and implementing safety measures. The value we see in upgrading and faster deployment is purposed on our end to meet people’s needs as soon as possible.

Feedback about AI developments

One of the things our company feels very strongly about is feedback. The decision behind our products were informed by discussions between team members, community engagement, and online discourse. Soon, we will be putting forth a survey to the general public and subscribers about their general thoughts around AI development and where our company can be most helpful. Users will remain anonymous for privacy purposes, but data regarding the general results of the survey will be publicly available.

Eventually, we’ll provide a more complete picture of public feedback which will feature some of our own data from the surveys, research methodology, and growing trends. We ask users to inform others about these results so that further discussions can take place, which in turn allows us to be more mindful about what projects to pursue and the manner in which we go about pursuing them.

The culture at Sheaves

Because we will be hiring soon for positions, we at Sheaves wanted to share what working at our startup looks like. The environment at Sheaves is highly intellectual and consists of a team of extremely motivated individuals. We expect team members to already have a large amount of understanding about AI and their roles. For example, software engineers at Sheaves are very familiar with the contents found in Introduction to Algorithms by Cormen et al, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence by Russell and Norvig, etc. We have what one might call a seminar culture and therefore a centralized node of information dissemination as opposed to decentralized and brief updates. Team members are expected to be constantly reading and learning to help brainstorm ways of applying information to current tasks and pending ones.

Even though the pace is naturally fast and intense, we do set aside time to reflect on what we are doing and where we are going. This allows some flexibility to explore new directions, further adding perspective to our efforts. If these aspects of our company sound appealing to you, then we encourage you to apply to our job postings (whenever they are...

What our products hope to achieve

For the second blog post, we wanted to talk briefly about what our products hope to achieve. Around the time of the inception of Sheaves AI, our team members were researching many aspects of the research and market potential of artificial intelligence. We concluded from these efforts that many AI products on the market were limited in scope and largely repetitive in design. Actually, they were some variation of Generative Pre-Trained Transformers (GPTs), which is built to generate text or similar content. While GPTs proved to be useful, these tools often lacked the ability to perform complex, real-world tasks.

In contrast, Sheaves AI focused on developing AI agents, autonomous software systems that use LLMs (or LCMs, etc.) to accomplish specific goals and complete technical tasks (rather than simply generating responses). We thought this was a great opportunity to broaden our products’ use-cases and hence, we developed a general-purpose platform that can be applied to everyday contexts and across many industries. Our customers then include both individuals who want to harness AI to solve real problems in their work and daily lives as...

Welcome to Sheaves AI, Inc. !!!

The team at Sheaves AI are writing enthusiasts. We’ll write blogs to invite users into what’s on our hearts and minds as we build towards a better future for humanity.

For our first blog post, we will introduce what Sheaves AI is all about. Sheaves AI is a general-purpose AI and Robotics startup focused on guiding the development of artificial intelligence in a more responsible and socially beneficial direction. The central problem our company addresses is the negative trajectory that current AI development is undergoing to deploy and build technology without proper oversight and meaningful input from the broader public.

Our startup was founded in San Francisco, CA — a world-renowned center of rapid technological development. In saying this, Silicon Valley moves very fast due to tech development, creating enormous financial growth. Over there, speed is a priority, thus creating an urgent need for raising capital (mainly through investments from Venture Capital firms). One of the most famous examples of fast growth is Google, Inc. The founders were able to receive investment from the world-renowned VC firm, Sequoia Capital. An example of...
